To My Inner Self, Please Hear What I’m going to Say

Life is such an unpredictable adventure. It is just like being on a boat in the middle of the ocean. When the weather is nice, the boat may sail properly through your destination. It feels nice as if you can smile all day. This way, you can feel that everything will be fine. On the other hand, when the storm is coming, it feels like as if the world around you is going to crumble under your feet. Feeling afraid that you won’t reach your destination makes your face to put on desperation on it. Then, you will ask yourself, “What do I do now?”
“What do I do now?” What do you think that you are going to do? It is you, yourself, who can decide what you are going to do. It is you, yourself who knows the best what should be done. Deep inside your mind, you clearly know about what you are going to do. Yet, at some point, you feel the doubt and hesitation are starting to make their own way in to your deepest part of mind. You should have ignored it. Don’t listen to them. Oh no, you finally listened to them.
“This is useless. I won’t make it.” What? You’re going to give up now? What a waste. You can do better than that. Why don’t you erase the words “give up” from your dictionary? Stop being a scaredy-cat. Is that all you can do? Whining and whining every time you got yourself in difficult situations?
“You can say everything you want. You don’t know what I’ve been through.” Oh yes? Please, excuse my rudeness then. But, will you listen to what I’m going to say? Well, do you feel that you are the only person who feels pain? You are? If so, please look around you. Your life is so much better than some unfortunate people around you.
“I don’t need words from someone like you. You are me. I am your thoughts. I know you better. Just give up already” Hey, isn’t my smile is enough for you? I am fine, and I’m gonna be fine. It’s you which I have to give up on listening to. See? Just give up on making me feels down. I can do what I want to, and you should just disappear, oh my negative thought.

“Fine. I will leave. But next time, I will surely come to you again.” Okay, just do as you please. I will take the challenge. But, be prepared to be ignored. Each time I win from you, I will become stronger ‘kay? Sayonara, negative thoughts.
