Psychological  bullying is a form of intentional mental abuse through actions or words that can cause mental discomfort. Psychological bullying gives a deeper impact than the physical bullying. An interesting, yet shocking fact about psychological bullying is it happens among the students at schools. This psychological bullying will surely gives unhealthy impacts toward their mental state.
In most of bullying cases that happened among the students, the bully may be one of the victims’ friends at school while the one getting bullied is someone who seems different or weaker than others. When a student in a school experience this kind of bullying, he will become uneasy just by coming to school. Being the victim of psychological bullying, a student may withdraw himself from people around him because he feels that everyone will just act as if he is a nonexistent and inferior no matter what he does.

As far as I know, from my experience when I was keeping a close watch on some of my friends who were victims of psychological bullying, the victims who got bullied tended to be quiet at school. They often distanced themselves from their friends, except from the ones who were brave enough to approach and understand them. The victims of psychological bullying rarely spook their minds to show what they really felt. There were some kind of distrust towards their friends. This action will lead to a further bullying because the bully actually wants to get reactions from the victims. If the victims never give any resistance, the bully will think that it is alright to keep on bullying. In extreme cases, the victims’ mental will slowly become disturbed by the condition of their own schools, and if it is getting worse, they might decide to leave school entirely.

On a further observation, the victims of psychological bullying were either stay quiet or act as if nothing happened when they were at home. If they are the quiet type, they won’t tell anyone at their home about the bullying that they are suffering from. Then, if they are the don’t-want-to-worry-other-people type, there will be two probabilities, they may tell or may not tell anyone about the bullying and keep on putting a cheerful demeanor. If they decide to tell about the bullying, their family might help them to solve the bullying problem. On the other hand, if they decide to keep quiet with the intention of not making other people feel worried, they might be caught in an endless cycle of bullying if they never try to break themselves out of it. When their mental can’t hold it any longer, it is not impossible if one day they will think that ending their lives will be the way out of their problems.

In conclusion, psychological bullying gives unhealthy impacts toward the victims. If the bullying keeps going on, their mental state will be in danger. The people around them, especially their family, must help them to get out of this problem to avoid any bad things that might happen in the future. The most important thing that can help the victims to get out of this situation is their own strong will.
